Coach Nat

Nathaniel Mills co-founded the iconic DC-ICE Speedskating Club in the Summer of 2002 with several parents living near Fort Dupont Ice Arena in Washington, DC, and FDIA's innovative Learn To Speedskate program, which introduced future Olympian Maame Biney to the sport.

Born in Chicago, Mills began his coaching career with the historic Evanston Speedskating Club, including future Olympic Champion Shani Davis. Over 25 years later, Coach Nat continues to share the joy of skating and philosophy of Olympism with local youth.
